Choose your question
1. What is LugRadio?

LugRadio is a British internet radio show, recorded every two weeks and published at www.lugradio.org in ogg and mp3 formats.

2. Who are the presenters?

LugRadio's presenters are all members of Wolverhampton LUG. You can find out more on the presenters page.

3. Why do you swear so much?

LugRadio is a light hearted, humorous look at Linux and open source issues. Our intention has always been to reflect the camaradery and relaxed atmosphere of one of our LUG meetings. It just happens that some people do swear in real life.

If you're offended by the swearing in LugRadio, you may want to consider some other Linux/open source shows. Otherwise, try not to be offended by throw-away words.

4. Where do you record?

We all live in the West Midlands and record the show in Jono's home studio in Wolverhampton.

5. How can I contact LugRadio?

The LugRadio forums are the best place to give your opinion on the show, or to suggest ideas for future episodes. You can also mail us directly at show AT lugradio DOT org. We may read out anything you send to that address.

6. How can I get on LugRadio?

The best way to get on LugRadio is to contact us with an idea for an interview or feature. If you're involved in an interesting open source project or have a good open source related story to tell, we may interview on the phone or in person.

7. Why is the sound quality so bad in older episodes?

We were all pretty much new to this, when we started LugRadio. It took us a while to learn the ropes of recording four loud men in a room and making it sound listenable!

8. Is there a LugRadio IRC channel?

Yep! irc.freenode.net channel #lugradio

9. How is LugRadio licensed?

Every episode of LugRadio is released under a Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial NoDerivs licence.

This means you can distribute LugRadio episodes and use them how you choose, so long as it's not for commercial purposes, you don't alter the content of the show and you credit us. Contact us if what you want to do is not allowed by that licence.

10. Can I help distribute LugRadio?

The best way to help us distribute LugRadio is to become an official mirror. Every time someone downloads LugRadio from LugRadio.org, the site randomly selects one of our mirrors from which to download the audio file.

Alternatively, you can add LugRadio to your stream, distribute it on CD or whatever you choose, so long as it's not for commercial purposes, you don't alter the show and you credit us. It'd be cool if you contact us to let us know what you're doing.
